Arsenal has joined the race to sign Chelsea’s star in the upcoming winter transfer windows within few days, in January.
According to the British outlet, The Sun, Arsene Wenger, Arsenal’s manager, is interested to sign Chelsea’s defender, David Luiz, for 25m GBP in January to strengthen their defense after suffering from defensive issues this season.
According to the Daily Star, Antonio Conte has left the Brazilian defender, David Luiz, out of the squad many times recently and is depending on the Danish young defender, Andreas Christensen, who is performing very well with The Blues.
David Luiz didn’t play with Chelsea since over 1 month and a half, since the fifth of November, except once against Qarabag FK in the Champions League.
Antonio Conte said that David Luiz is suffering from a knee injury which is preventing him from playing with Chelsea, but it seems the issue isn’t an injury and Antonio Conte doesn’t want to play David Luiz anymore in the team, which will force the Brazilian defender to leave in January in order to be included in Brazil’s squad in the world cup next summer.
Knowing that other clubs are showing interest in the Brazilian defender as well such as Manchester United, Bayern Munich, and Juventus.
