Chelsea is reported getting closer to sign a 30 million top rated attacking midfielder in the upcoming winter transfer windows, in January, amid Premier League giant competing for him.
According to the English outlet, Express, Chelsea are favourite to beat their rival, Tottenham Hotspurs, and sign the top rated English attacking midfielder who plays for Everton, Ross Barkley, and sign him in January.
Antonio Conte has revealed that he isn’t happy with the summer transfer windows, and he talked with the board for new signings in January to help the team keep the Premier League title race and in the other competitions as well due to the lack of the depth in the team and some players underperforming such as Bakayoko and Drinkwater in the midfield.
The 24 years old attacking midfielder, Ross Barkley, expected to cost The Blues around 30m US dollars, 25m Euros, in January after Chelsea was close to signing him last summer, but Ross Barkley refused to undergo medical examinations few hours before the deadline day ends. Knowing that Sam Allardyce, Everton’s new manager, has confirmed that Ross Barkley future is still uncertain at Everton.
Ross Barkley joined Everton as a youth back in 2005, and he made his debut for Everton back in 2010 to be one of the key players for the Merseyside side with 150 appearances in the Premier League and 25 goals.
