Chelsea seem they aren’t so active during the winter transfer windows which ends in nine days at the end of January, but the Blues seem to be preparing for a huge deal for the summer.
According to the Daily Star which reports the Don Balon claims that Chelsea are preparing for a swap deal that will be considered the biggest and most expensive swap deal in the history of transfers in football ever.
The report claims that Chelsea will be negotiating with the La Liga giant, Barcelona, in order to complete a swap deal which will include giving them Chelsea and Belgian’s superstar, Eden Hazard, next summer after the world cup where the Belgian forward didn’t renew his contract with the Blues until this moment and he seemed interested in going to Real Madrid.
However, the swap deal will include Barcelona’s French forward, Ousmane Dembele, who arrived from the Bundesliga side, Borussia Dortmund, last summer in a record fee back then for the Bundesliga and La Liga where the French youngster’s transfer fee was 105million Euros, and he couldn’t play a lot this season due to injuries.
If this deal goes through, it will be the most expensive swap deal in the history of transfer market where none of the European or non-European clubs witnessed any such huge swap deal in terms of transfers fees.
Knowing that Chelsea and Barcelona will face each other next month in the Champions League knock out stages where it will be their first meeting since 2012 where Chelsea knocked Barcelona out of the competition and they won the Champions League for the first time in their history against Bayern Munich by Penalties.
