Antonio Conte, Chelsea’s manager, has officially talked about the possibilities and chances of a deal for a striker during this winter transfer windows during January.
In a pre-match press conference ahead of the clash against Arsenal in the first leg of the London Derby in the semi-final of the EFL Cup, Carabao Cup, Antonio Conte has finally talked about the possibility of selling the Belgian striker, Michy Batshuayi, in January.
Antonio Conte said:” I am very happy to work with such players and I am happy if their commitment to Chelsea.”
Conte continued:” Michy Batshuayi is a young player and he still has a great future ahead of him. He has to keep on working hard and commit, I am very happy with his commitment and his behavior during the training.”
This comes after Antonio Conte didn’t start Michy Batshuayi this season over the new Spaniard, Alvaro Morata, who arrived at Chelsea last summer from Real Madrid, and it seems that Antonio Conte doesn’t trust Michy Batshuayi to let him start in the squad where many times he was playing without a striker when Alvaro Morata was injured, suspended, or rotating him.
Knowing that the La Liga side, Sevilla, was reported to be interested in signing Michy Batshuayi on a loan.
