Three Injuries Ahead Of Barcelona

Chelsea will be playing tomorrow, Tuesday, against Barcelona FC in one of the biggest Champions League matches where the Blues Chelsea will eye a win at home, Stamford Bridge, against the Catalan giant.

However, Antonio Conte, Chelsea’s manager, is suffering from several injuries in the team which will affect him while choosing the starting Xl that will play against Barcelona FC tomorrow where the Italian manager has several injuries in the midfield.

Antonio Conte and Chelsea will be missing four players against Barcelona FC where the majority of the injuries are in the midfield.

Chelsea will be missing the Brazilian defender, David Luiz, who lost his place earlier this season for the Danish youngster, Andreas Christensen in the Premier League.

On the other hand, Chelsea will be missing the English midfielder, Ross Barkley, who arrived at the Stamford Bridge earlier last month from the Liverpool club, Everton FC, where he didn’t play a lot due to an injury he suffered from since the beginning of this season, and now he is out again.

Moreover, Antonio Conte will be missing the French midfielder, Tiemoue Bakayoko, who is confirmed to be suffering an injury two days ago, where he missed the FA Cup match against Hull City last Friday. Knowing that Tiemoue Bakayoko was a regular started in Antonio Conte’s squad this season even though he was underperforming since his arrival from the Ligue 1 side, A.S. Monaco. Knowing that Tiemoue Bakayoko has suspended in the Premier League and FA Cup the last match after picking up a red card.

This will leave Antonio Conte in a situation where he will be forced to play the same midfielders who played against Hull City last week in the FA Cup such as the former Barcelona player, Cesc Fabregas, and Danny Drinkwater in case Antonio Conte decides to play with five midfielders.

On the other hand, Antonio Conte has received an injury boost where the Spanish player, Marcos Alonso, is declared fit and will be returning to the starting Xl tomorrow, as expected, after missing two matches due to an injury in the Premier League and FA Cup. However, there is a minor doubt that Antonio Conte would start Davide Zappacosta in case Marcos Alonso won’t be able to play in the last minutes ahead of the match.
