It has been officially announced by Chelsea the signing of the world-class midfielder all Chelsea fans were waiting for since the beginning of this season.
Chelsea has officially announced the signing of Ross Barkley from Everton FC for an estimated fee of 35million British Pounds after around 6 months of the rumors and news about coming to Chelsea, and especially after undergoing the medical exams last summer and then changing his mind before signing with Chelsea on the last hours of the deadline day.
The 24 years old midfielder will sign for five and a half years, which means until the age of 29 and he will stay with Chelsea until the summer of 2023, and Antonio Conte is hoping to strengthen the midfielder with this signing.
On the other hand, Ross Barkley didn’t play with his former club, Everton FC, due to an injury since the beginning of this season due to a hamstring injury where he had to undergo a surgery, and he is expected to be able and fit to play with Chelsea in the second half of this season after arriving at the Stamford Bridge.
Welcome, Ross Barkley to the Stamford Bridge!
