Chelsea have qualified to the fifth round of the FA Cup after beating the newly promoted Premier League side, Newcastle United, last Sunday, in the FA Cup fourth round at home, Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea won against Newcastle United with three goals and kept a clean sheet where the Spanish full wing back, Marcos Alonso, scored a goal through a wonderful free kick, it was the third goal and provided an assist, and the Belgian striker who left on loan until the end of this season to the Bundesliga giant, Borussia Dortmund, scored the two goals for Chelsea where he was the man of the match in that match.
With that result, Chelsea qualified to the FA Cup fifth round which will take place in February but the time and date weren’t confirmed before. However, it’s officially confirmed now.
Chelsea have drawn against the Championship side, Hull City, who got recently relegated to the Championship last season after the disappointing performance.
Chelsea FC will be playing against the Championship side, Hull City, at home, Stamford Bridge, on the 20th of February 2018, which will be a Friday. The match will be at night, at 8 PM local time, 9 PM BST time.
Chelsea are asked to qualify for the next round of this competition which seems their last chance to win with something this season after the disappointing performance in the Premier League where they are far away from Manchester City who are on the top of the Premier League table, and they got knocked out from the EFL Cup semi-final against Arsenal last week where Chelsea lost 2-1 in the second leg away from home, at the Emirates Stadium.
